Manuscript Critiques

The centerpiece of the R(ev)ise and Shine! mission is to help other writers grow. We offer a host of opportunities for writers to work one-on-one with our experienced mentors who can offer editorial feedback on works-in-progress at all stages.

Each of us has our own unique approach to helping other writers, as well as our own preferences for the types of projects we take on. To see who best fits your needs, check out our bios via the menu above, and then fill out an application at the bottom of this page for the mentor and service you’re requesting.

The Process

  • Step 1

Fill out the application of the mentor you'd like to work with. Describe yourself and your project in detail. (The menu below lists which of us works on what types of projects.)

  • Step 2

The mentor you've selected will review your application, let you know if/when they are available, and provide a free price quote for the work requested.

  • Step 3

You and your mentor will agree on a project deadline and payment schedule. Please note that our fees vary widely depending on the scope of work involved.

  • Step 4

Hooray! You’ll submit your work to your mentor as arranged between the two of you and await feedback.
